Adding Haptic Feedback to the iPhone Keyboard in iOS 16

The iPhone has long been able to play click sounds when you tap keys on the virtual keyboard, but this feedback, while welcome at times, can become annoying when you’re trying to keep it quiet. A new feature in iOS 16 provides haptic feedback — the tiny taps you feel on your fingertips when you tap keys on the keyboard. It’s a subtle but very effective way of mimicking a real keyboard, and we encourage you to try it out. Turn it on in Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Keyboard Feedback. (Try turning the sound off while you’re there; it may not be needed anymore.)
