GeForce’s now free tier will soon be ad-supported

At least you’ll have something to watch while you wait?

GeForce Now, Ultimate, and Priority have multiple tiers that require a monthly subscription fee and provide better hardware for the remote PC you’ll be playing on, plus there’s a free tier that anyone can try. The free tier does have some limitations, your game doesn’t support ray tracing, you can only play for an hour per day, and you usually have to wait a while before you can use a virtual computer. The free tier is designed to give you a taste of GeForce Now in the hopes of convincing you to subscribe to one of the paid tiers.

If you’ve been using the free version, you might have another reason to consider upgrading to a subscription. GeForce Now will be generally available on YouTube on March 5th, and you’ll see up to two minutes of ads while you’re waiting to connect. If you are a user of the free service, please keep this in mind next week.
