More information about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Buds 3 series has surfaced.
Leaks from GalaxyClub (in Dutch) continue to suggest that Samsung is working on Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, but also brought regular Buds 3 (via SamMobile). The model number of Buds 3 Pro is said to be SM-R630, while its base model is SM-R530.
The publication adds that Samsung has allegedly “developed” firmware for two of its upcoming wireless earphones.
No further information is available about the Buds 3 and 3 Pro, but a charging case for the latter is said to have been spotted. Samsung appears to have submitted the device’s charging case to SafetyKorea (South Korea’s inspection agency) for approval. Information in the database states that the device contains a “battery” and is “rechargeable.”
It is currently speculated that Samsung may release the Galaxy Buds 3 series later this year, possibly in sync with the Flip 6 and Fold 6.
Information about the Buds 3 Pro has been sparse, with the latest rumors from January suggesting it would be “coming soon.” What we’re seeing now is more believable than previous rumors, as information suggests we’re getting the next foldable device soon.
A report in November 2023 suggested that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro may have a smaller iterative upgrade than the Buds 2 Pro. Samsung is expected to maintain a premium tone throughout the development of the Buds 3 Pro. Buds 2 Pro feature improved ambient audio controls, Auracast technology, and LE audio capabilities.
Furthermore, with the latest debut of Galaxy AI on the Galaxy S24 series, it might not be surprising to expect some unique features to be included in the Buds 3 Pro.
