OLED iPad Pro leaked: Take a look at its new rumored design

After months of rumors, we may have just taken notice (sort of) of Apple’s latest iPad Pro.

The device appears in some CAD (computer-aided design) drawings that have surfaced online, MacRumors reports, noting that these things tend to leak out of factories in China from time to time.

This shouldn’t surprise anyone, but it looks very much like an iPad.

The next-generation iPad Pro is rumored to have several major changes, one of which is very obvious in the renders: a thinner, slimmer profile. The device’s dimensions suggest there will be 11-inch and 13-inch models; both will be significantly thinner than the iPad Pro models currently on the market.

The 13-inch model, in particular, is likely to be over 1mm thinner than the current 12.9-inch version.

Another possible big change is the addition of OLED displays, which Apple has used on smaller devices like iPhones for years but has been slow to adopt on larger displays. The OLED panel emits deeper blacks and a richer overall image than the panels Apple has previously used on its iPads.

This could also lead to price increases, but we’ll have to wait and see. With rumors suggesting an announcement could come in March, we probably won’t have to wait too long.
