HMD today announced the launch of a new 4GB RAM variant of the Nokia G42 in India with 128GB of built-in storage, priced at INR 9,999 ($120/€110) and will be available starting March 8 via Amazon.in and HMD’s official Indian website. It will be available in So Purple and So Grey.
The Nokia G42 is also available in India in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations through the HMD website, priced at INR 12,999 ($155/€145) and INR 16,999 ($205/€190) respectively.

The Nokia G42 is powered by the Snapdragon 480+ SoC and received the Android 14 update in India in January. It’s built with a 6.56-inch 90Hz HD+ LCD with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a notch for the 8MP selfie camera.
On the back, you can see a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The Nokia G42 packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 20W charging support and comes with a side fingerprint scanner, USB-C and 5G connectivity.
