Since a standard satellite dish costs less than $400 to make, Amazon is aiming to lower the price of SpaceX’s equivalent Starlink kit, which costs $599.99. Although specific monthly fees have not been disclosed, Amazon’s strategic focus is to provide cost-effective solutions to the 400 to 500 million households that still lack reliable Internet access.
