Pokemon Go’s Twinkling Fantasy event will be filled with dragon and fairy types

What if you are Pokémon Go Players, next week you’ll have a new event to attend: the Twinkling Fantasy event.

During the event, which runs from January 10th to the 16th, you’ll get access to various goblin types like Dedenne, can join raids featuring Mega Salamence, and the Legendary Pokémon Zekrom will return to the game.

Pokemon Go Season 9: Mythical Wishes has begun!

During the week-long event, you’ll earn twice the XP and candy for catching Nice, Great, and Excellent thrown Pokemon. In this case, if you are level 31 or above, your chances of getting Candy XL will also increase.

Various Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild. These include Bagon, Clefairy, Clefable, Dedenne (maybe even Shiny!), Deino, Dratini, Jigglypuff, Marill, Ralts, Togetic, and Vibrava. Some might even be shiny.

If you’re super lucky, you might come across Goomy or Noibat – maybe even Shiny. Honestly, both are fine.

You’ll also want to take a few snaps, as dragons or fairies may bombard your lens with photos, offering the chance to capture it.

As with many events, there will be collection challenges that, upon completion, will reward you with 50 Salamence Mega Energy, a Charged TM, and a Fast TM.

Event-themed field research mission encounters will be available, and upon completion, you can encounter Bagon, Clefairy, Dedenne, or Dratini. You might even run into a Goomy – and maybe even a Shiny.

New rotations of Pokemon will appear in active raids. One-star raids will include Axew, Deino, Jigglypuff, and Marill. The Pokémon in the 3-star raid will be Dedenne, Druddigon, and Mawile.

As previously mentioned, the Mega Raid will feature Salamence, while Zekrom will be the leader of the five-star Raid. The latter will remain in the game until January 18, when he will be replaced by Regice and Tapu Koko.

Between Chespin’s Community Day tomorrow, January 7, and next week’s Twinkling Fantasy event, there’s plenty to do in Pokemon Go. And that’s just the beginning of it.

Go Battle Weekend: Steven Stone on January 14-15, Lunar New Year Event on January 19-23, Larvitar Community Day Classic on January 21, game ending with Crackling Voltage Event This month runs from January 27th to February 5th.

Have fun there.
