A former Love Island star was spotted at a football match near Glasgow with an “internet sensation”.

Calum Best was pictured attending Port Glasgow Junior Football Club’s match against Threave Rovers on Saturday, March 9, with Wealdstone Play alongside the Wealdstone Raiders.

The 43-year-old, the son of late Manchester United footballer George Best, is best known for his appearances on reality TV shows such as Celebrity Love Island and Celebrity Big Brother.

Meanwhile, the Wealdstone Raider, real name Gordon Parmar Hill, became famous for becoming an “internet meme”.

He became widely known a few years ago for a video of him heckling an opposing fan at a football match.

“We have a special guest today,” the club said in the post.

“Callum Best – great to have you as a guest at the club. Feel free to come back any time.”

Punters were left stunned after the club shared the news.

One person said: “This has to go down as the most random group of people playing the most random game together.”

A second voice called out: “Hang this in the Louvre.”

Another added: “Awesome!”

Meanwhile, a fourth said “this needs context”, to which the football team replied: “Big supporter of the team. Come down when you want – you’ll come away as a huge fan.”
