what you need to know

  • The outstanding feature of Magic V2 is its hardware, which has an ultra-thin design, only 9.9 mm when folded.
  • The device comes with a 7.92-inch internal screen and a 6.43-inch external screen, both of which support a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and offer impressive resolution.
  • Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 16GB of RAM, the Magic V2 may not have the latest specs, but it offers solid performance.
  • Priced at €1,999 in Europe and £1,700 in the UK, the Magic V2 is positioned at the high end of the foldable market, on par with the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Honor’s ultra-thin Magic V2 took China by storm as the thinnest foldable phone, and now it’s crossing the border and landing in Europe.

The Huawei spinoff has only been in the foldable phone business for two years, but it’s killing it. In China, Honor has launched four book-style foldable phones so far, but in Europe we’ve only seen the Magic V and Magic Vs. Now, the Honor Magic V2 is the third foldable phone in the region.
