New Delhi: BSE Sensex and Nifty50 saw sharp decline in trading volume on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex fell sharply by 1,152 points and fell below 73,000 points. Nifty50 also fell and fell below the 22,000-point mark. It hit an intraday low of 21,906 points and closed just below 22,000 points, down 338 points.
The small-cap index was also affected by the crash, plunging 5%. This is the bleakest performance since December 2022. Not only this, mid-cap stocks also witnessed a 3% decline. Microcap and small-cap stocks fell about 5% each. Although the stock market situation remains grim, some people are choosing to find humor in it.
