Vivo sub-brand iQOO officially launched the Z9 a few days ago, but now it seems to be developing an improved version according to new rumors. According to prolific (and often accurate) Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station, the iQOO Z9 Turbo is about to launch.
The Turbo model will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, which will be released next week, while the “regular” Z9 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200.

The new phone will also feature a higher “1.5K” resolution screen than the Z9’s 1080p panel, and a 6,000 mAh battery – 1,000 mAh more than the just-announced phone.
These are all the specs that have been leaked so far, but we’re not going to lie – they make the Turbo version look a lot more attractive than the non-Turbo version. We assume more specifications and details about the iQOO Z9 Turbo will be revealed soon, so stay tuned.
