Every year, photographers across the UK – and, unknowingly, British wildlife – vie for people’s attention British Wildlife Photography Awards, a competition celebrating Britain’s biodiversity. Of more than 14,000 photos, only a handful were selected as winners, with the grand prize winner receiving more than $6,000.
The photos were submitted into 10 different categories: Animal Behavior, Animal Portraits, British Plants, Black and White, British Seasons, Coasts & Seas, Habitats, Hidden Britain, Urban Wildlife and Wild Woods. Click through to see all the winning shots.
