OnePlus is launching the 12R internationally for the first time this year (the previous R model was only available in India). The company seems very proud of the device, saying the “flagship killer is back” and even launching a special Genshin Impact Edition.
Today, the folks at 9to5Google spotted a new ad (most likely on Facebook) in which OnePlus tells you to “upgrade from Pixel to 12R” to get “more surprises” for “less money.”
Interestingly, OnePlus is specifically targeting Pixel users. However, its offering is no joke – in the US, you can get a OnePlus 12R for just $399.99, and you can trade it in for any device in any condition. Guaranteed $100 off without too much hassle.
If you trade in specific equipment in good operating condition, you can earn up to $450 in additional bonuses. So, in theory, you could even buy the 12R for free, but in practice that’s not the case as the highest trade-in amounts are always for the top-tier devices, and we’re assuming no one will trade in an iPhone 15 Pro for an iPhone 15 Pro.
