There are many functions besides games
Measuring just 148 x 120 x 38 mm (5.8 x 4.7 x 1.5 inches), the ECS LIVA Z5 Plus includes a Core i5-1335U, 16GB of non-soldered DDR4-3200, and a PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe SSD. Using standard memory and storage means you can upgrade this little PC if you want, and TechPowerUp didn’t find any thermal throttling during testing, which is a viable proposition. You can only use the Xe graphics card on the i5-1335U, so it will never run games well, but maybe there will be an AMD-based version in the future.
Connectivity is equally effective, with two 2.5 GbE ports in addition to Wi-Fi 6E AX211 2×2 and Bluetooth 5.3. The ECS LIVA Z5 Plus can theoretically drive four displays, including two HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3 and USB-C to DP. To round things out, it has an audio jack and three USB 3.2 Type-A ports, making this LIVA more portable and flexible than most laptops today.
