It’s been a relatively quiet Tuesday this week and I thought I’d save one of yesterday’s reviews as I don’t have much in store for you today. Well, there are two reviews worth reading. EGGCONSOLE Ys II PC-8801mkIIsr and Kingdom Come: Royal Edition, in case you were wondering. After that, we only have one new version to look at, but at least it’s not in Bin Bunch. Then we’ll have some promotions including some cool games at low prices. Let’s get to work!

EGGCONSOLE Ys II PC-8801mkIIsr ($6.49)
The second section is roughly the same as the first section.At least as far as my thoughts on this particular version Ys II Anyway, let’s go.Following the release of the initial PC-8801 version Ys A recent game, Egg control The project now offers a sequel to the game. These days, these games are often packaged together because they are effectively two parts of one story and share a lot of assets and mechanics with each other.So if you pick up Egg control Having released Ys and having a great time, I will continue to recommend you buy this one as well.
For those who didn’t grab the first game, be aware that all the same major caveats apply here as well. Most of the text in the game is in Japanese, with no English option, so unless you can read the language, are willing to follow the guide, or know the game by heart, you’ll encounter a lot of language barriers when trying to complete your missions. I’ll put an extra warning here, you really should play the original game before continuing with this one. As mentioned, this is part two of a story. It’s built not only on its narrative but also on its mechanics, which in terms of difficulty more or less assume you’ve got the hang of it.
If you’re willing to take on the important task of playing a Japanese action RPG, Ys II very funny. The music is excellent, and it’s surprisingly playable for a game of its time and place.That said, this version once again suffers from a language barrier, which means that while it’s an enjoyable game and probably the only version Ys II We’ll likely see it on Switch, and I can only give it a simple recommendation.

Kingdom Come: Royal Edition ($49.99)
There are a lot of reviews about this game, so I’m just going to talk about the quality of the port. The game isn’t exactly suitable for more advanced consoles, and it does have performance issues. This Switch version got a lot of the hits you’d expect. The resolution is lower and overall visual detail is significantly reduced. Still, this is a pretty solid port, all things considered. The frame rate is respectable relative to other console ports, and even when things get choppy in busy scenes, it’s a very playable experience. It has a few more pop-ups than other versions, but overall it performs admirably compared to similar games on the Switch. Saber Interactive has done some crazy Switch conversions before, and this is another step forward for it.
Kingdom Come: Royal Edition Thanks to the talented and experienced people at Saber Interactive, the game is brought to Nintendo Switch in the best form possible with the hardware. While this won’t be mistaken for the version on more powerful hardware, it’s not a bad way to play the game at all. This is another “impossible port” for Switch users.

MLB The Show 24 ($59.99)
Oops, I forgot about the regular version. MLB Show 24 Came out yesterday. Regardless, you can now get the latest version of Sony’s popular baseball series without having to buy one of the more premium versions. There are some new elements here, but overall, this series found its groove a while ago and continues to thrive in it. I would say this is the most realistic baseball game you can play on the Switch.
