I come to you with bad (but probably expected) news.Spoilers for Capcom’s high fantasy RPG Dragon’s Dogma 2 The game was leaked ahead of its March 22 release, with some players livestreaming four to six hours of raw, unedited gameplay over the weekend of March 15. As is customary with such things, be careful online.
according to european players and IGN, the leak appears to come from players who own an early copy of the game, although no one knows exactly how this happened. However, my guess is that either the store violated the March 22 street date (which happens to be The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Two weeks before the release on May 12, 2023) or people changed the console’s time zone to get in earlier, e.g. people did some Mortal Kombat 1 skin Back to November 2023. Regardless, spoilers are out now and cover everything in the game. I won’t go into detail – you can find it easily if you want – but I’ve seen map sizes, classes that Capcom hasn’t revealed yet, bosses, dungeons, end-game content, and more. There are a lot of leaks around. It’s not a bad idea to mute this sentence “Dragon’s Dogma 2” and any relevant keywords when scrolling online.
Capcom appears to be taking up the case, nuking posts and streams containing: Dragon’s Dogma 2 spoiler. This is the internet, though, so their efforts may be moot, especially since according to one of my early streamers who played the game, people apparently had multiple Twitch accounts dedicated to leaking games. “What games have I leaked so far that I’ve played so early? Like, I can give you a list,” the streamer said. “I play Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier Early.I play fuck Outcast: Ghosts of New Eden Early.I play Final Fantasy VII Reborn Early. Now this. I streamed some stuff early on because I felt people should see it. “
my city Capcom has been contacted for comment.
