Amazon Spring Sale 2024: The Best Mac and MacBook Deals

Apple laptops and computers are powerful, stylish, and expensive—but you can get a lot more bang for your buck if you buy at the right time. With Amazon’s big spring sale just around the corner and the plethora of MacBook price cuts that come with it, we’d say the time is now.

The sale runs until March 25th, and we’ve already seen some notable price cuts: the M3 MacBook Air, which just launched earlier this month with a small (read: very small) discount, the M2 MacBook Air with a reduced price, and even an M1 iMac Some pretty affordable deals. We’ll keep an eye on price changes as more major Mac sales take place.

One of the best times to buy a big-ticket item like a MacBook Air is after a newer model becomes available. Case in point: This 15-inch Air with 512GB of built-in storage is $300 off at Best Buy, and it only went on sale last June. The main difference between it and the just-released Air is the slightly slower M2 chipset, but we do mean slightly slower. Overall, you’re getting a slightly leaner machine with the M3, but if you don’t need the latest and greatest and like to save money, this M2 deal is worth a look.

Let’s be honest, people don’t buy iMacs because they want the most powerful desktop computer, and Apple makes iMacs for that reason. While this M1 model is a bit older, the main difference between it and last year’s M3 iMac is the processor. If what you’re really looking for is a desktop that can help you complete your daily tasks and is easy to use, we’d be willing to bet that you won’t be too worried about the speed difference between these processors. At $900, it’s cheaper than most MacBooks.
