Graphics modes and more recommended tweaks

Before you start scaling mt.grade With Sephiroth Final Fantasy VII Reborn, there are many settings you should consider adjusting. While many of the basic settings can be left alone, some, such as graphics mode, require your attention before you commit to them. Yes, even after two updates, we still recommend the graphics settings over the two new performance options. That said, you should consider trying all modes. For repeated games, you may want to consider performance.

Try all graphics settings as soon as possible

Final Fantasy VII Reborn Three graphics modes are available to choose from:

  • Graphics: Sharper, more detailed images and longer draw distances when running at 30 frames per second
  • Performance – Smooth: Images running at 60 frames per second are softer and less detailed
  • Performance – Sharp: Images running at 60 frames per second are sharper but less detailed

These options are available by clicking the menu button and navigating to System > Options > Graphics > Optimization.

as my opinion period rebirthDemo As well as subsequent releases, I think “Graphics” mode is the best way to enjoy rebirth At least in the first game.

Either of the two performance modes results in faster combat and menu navigation that feels faster and more seamless.but as rebirth Being a narrative-focused game filled with epic fantasy landscapes, I found it more valuable to get sharper, sharper images and draw distances that maintained some fidelity. rebirthAn epic fantasy world should feel like an amazing, real place. Performance mode, in either case, takes away from that illusion a bit with jagged or blurry images.

That is, once you’re done rebirthI think performance mode is a great way to immerse yourself in further into the fight, whether you’re gearing up or preparing for a Hardmode run. In fact, there’s a good reason to rely on Performance Mode’s higher frame rates over Hard Mode. The question remains: which one?

Based on my experience with the latest patch, I’m leaning in favor of performance-smoothing.in my eyes it Do Looks sharper than pre-patch performance mode. Performance – Sharp has a coarse filter that makes the game look more jagged, especially for distant objects. However, objects at close range can also take damage. Even on a 4K TV, you can visually see the jagged pixel edges of Cloud’s sword.

But while we may have concrete numbers when talking about visual fidelity (frame rate and pacing, resolution, supersampling, etc.), I think enjoyment of a game’s appearance is largely subjective. I recommend using Graphics mode for your first playthrough and Performance-Smooth for subsequent grind and Hard mode runs, but your own taste may vary.

Active combat or classic combat?

You have Two different combat modes choose from rebirth. In active mode, you’re responsible for entering commands to attack enemies. In Classic Mode, whichever character you currently control will automatically perform its basic attacks, as well as some actions.

Both are valid methods. However, Classic Mode can result in a slower experience, so for more intense battles, we recommend Active Mode.

Consider turning down your music volume slightly

Depending on your speaker settings, you may have noticed that the music sometimes makes it difficult to hear certain conversations. Generally speaking, rebirthThe audio could use a better mix (at least as far as the presentation is concerned). I recommend the following audio settings as a good baseline, with room for adjustment to taste:

  • Master volume: 10
  • Music volume: 7 or 8
  • Sound volume: 8
  • Speech volume: 10
  • Song volume: 7 or 8

Other settings worth considering

The chat log displays any overheard conversations on the left side of the screen, which can be a bit confusing in areas like Nibelheim where you’re likely to see a lot of people at once. If you don’t need chat for accessibility reasons, I recommend turning it off to clear some screen space. Go to the Options menu and under Game you will find the settings for Chat Log.

Speaking of clearing up screen space, you can choose Tracker and minimap for navigation. In the Game section of the Options menu, you can set the world navigation display and location navigation display to either a circular minimap in the upper right corner of the screen or a horizontal bar showing key objectives in the top center of the screen.

Finally, once you’ve mastered the basics of combat, we recommend turning off the combat guide, which displays all available button commands during combat above the command menu on the left side of the screen. Once you memorize the controls in combat, it doesn’t make much sense to dedicate so much screen space to commands you already know – especially when you have more than one person in your party, and the guide becomes more big.

Another setting worth considering changing is the terrain operating guide. Cloud can jump over and climb certain areas by pressing circle. When turned on, Terrain Action Guide will display a white crescent on the ground in front of Cloud if he’s facing something he can jump over or climb onto.

You may also want to change various camera settings, such as the distance of the camera during exploration and combat, and other settings related to the direction the camera is facing after certain actions in combat.

final fantasy 7 reborn is creating an exciting role-playing game experience. These settings allow you to adjust its presentation and behavior to your liking and make the most of your time in the cloud and co.
