Sometimes, simple is best. The proof is in the pudding with these AMVR Quest 3 controller grips, which are primarily designed to add handles and hand straps for quick battery changes or temporary use with another Quest 3 controller accessory.
The secret is the Quest 3 controller’s clever battery cover design, which snaps in and releases with the push of a button. The AMVR Quest 3 Controller Grip Socket replaces the standard controller battery cover and adds a lovely grip texture and an easily adjustable hand strap to make throwing objects in VR even easier.
The hand strap adjusts quickly with a Velcro backing, and the ribbed texture on the grip surface helps keep hands cool, even during long, sweaty sessions of the best Meta Quest games.

The original version of the controller’s handles were defective, but AMVR quickly replaced them with refined versions that were less susceptible to damage. I’ve been using them for a few months and haven’t noticed any structural issues, so I believe the original issue has been resolved.
My favorite part about these grips is how easy it is to remove them when necessary. You won’t be replacing the batteries very often, as the Quest 3 controller’s battery life lasts for weeks, but I often play Walkabout mini golf with friends and love putting accessories like the HelloReal putter or AMVR Quest 3 golf clubs.
Both require you to remove the grip to fit snugly inside the club attachment, and simply push a button to pop the grip out and slide the controller into the golf club.

If you prefer, AMVR also sells another controller grip that completely covers the controller. These are also nice and add a similar hand strap to make casting easier, but require more work to get off the ground if you want to use other accessories.
But for me, simple is best. That’s why I prefer the regular AMVR Quest 3 controller pads, and why I call them one of the best Meta Quest 3 accessories. Of all the games I’ve tested so far, this is my favorite way to play.
