Fortunately, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire There is a ratio Ghostbusters: Afterlife. That movie saw two generations of Ghostbusters finally defeat Gozer, but then… it ended. Multiple post-credits scenes were teased Something completely new and now, we finally see the payoff.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire There is once again a post-credits scene that briefly teases the future, but the real hints at what might be coming next are mostly found in the film itself. We’ll talk about it all below, with spoilers, of course.
So let’s deal with this in order. At the end of the film, the Ghostbusters finally defeat Garaka by sucking him into the original firehouse containment unit, but this comes at the cost of all the other ghosts in the unit escaping. At least that’s what we think. Although it’s not explained very clearly, Galaka does appear to have released all the ghosts from the unit. Then, in the final shot of the film, we see the sewer ghost flying down the street, and there are a lot of ghosts flying around him. That means Ghostbusters now has a lot of work to do. A lot more than before. So, that was the first seed of what might come next. They need to redo all the work of the past 40 years.
Another seed is the casting of James Acaster, Kumail Nanjiani and Patton Oswalt. All three comedians play characters who help the Ghostbusters in some way, and co-writer and director Gil Kenan confirmed that each could potentially return to join the team. “I hope we’re lucky enough to make more. I wouldn’t count any of them out.” he told io9. Acaster and Oswalt’s roles seem fairly simple. Acaster’s Lars will be the smart Egon type, while Oswalt’s Dr. Watzke will be the more thoughtful Winston type. But then there’s Nanjiani’s Nadeem Razmaadi, who we think has accomplished more than many people thought.
In the film, we learn that Nadim is a fire master, an ancient protector with a legacy passed down from generation to generation. With it came the power to manipulate fire, a new skill he used to help the Ghostbusters defeat Galaka. But what next? With his superhuman ability to manipulate fire, Nadeem is more than just a Ghostbuster. He’s a super ghostbuster. Or, stay with us, maybe he’s the next villain.
Think about it. A shy, poor, single man realizes he has superpowers and can now do anything he wants? This is the origin story of every villain in comic book history.There are no hints in it frozen empire It’s going to happen – for the most part, Nadeem is humble and shocked by his power – but can’t you see him becoming a real problem in the future? Something to really consider.
Finally, there are the end credits. In the film, a driver’s truck is stolen by a group of fools, and it is revealed that the truck they stole was a Stay-Puft Marshmallow truck. The whole thing seems like a joke, but let’s think about it. So far, there have been two movies of “Mini Poof”, mainly for comedy effect. They cause some confusion and some annoyance, but that’s about it. What is their end? We assume that by stealing a truck carrying hundreds of thousands of marshmallows, they now have access to a truly large, powerful army. Do they behave like a swarm of ants? Or will they go more Voltron-esque and make a concerted effort to bring back the big characters from the original film? Either seems possible. Plus, Nadeem controls the fire, right? Marshmallows and fire go well together.
All of this, combined with the unlimited potential now available at the Winston Paranormal Research Center, opens a window to all sorts of potential new technologies, if Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire very popular. If not, it’s good to know that the Ghostbusters are back on the case.
