February 20, MrBeast posted a photo of a pile of his candies that were allegedly placed in the back area of an unspecified store. He explained that after fans complained that he couldn’t buy his candy at Walmart and Target, he personally spent 15 hours visiting stores and “helping them out.”
“The store had 0 sales and 0 products on the shelves when I visited,” MrBeast explained. “I found these in the back room and had them scan them. I put them on a shelf. Then the store started selling a bar an hour haha.”
There’s a lot to unpack here. First, he doesn’t just “find” these things behind the scenes at Walmart or Target. The inventory area is reserved for employees and is not a place you can freely visit. Now, he’s a popular star and the founder of the company, so I’m not surprised they let him back in there, but framed the matter as if the Walmart employees had no idea the candy bars were back in there , which was still weird until he came back. Wander around.
It also sounds like a very bad day for anyone who works at the store. MrBeast posted the image at 7:30 a.m. ET, the day after he said he spent 15 hours checking the store’s inventory. Imagine you’re working early for work, or getting ready to clock out after get off work in a place you hate, and when Mr. Beast asks to come into your pantry, he gets that soulless look in his eyes and then tells you to replenish his candy bar immediately! These places tend to have systems and schedules for these things. Target isn’t trying to keep a popular item and not sell it.

According to Mr. Beast– a man He once tricked his fans into doing free labor for him By asking them to fix his lollipop display – most products don’t have the same “speed” as his chocolates. So, you have to “stock the shelves more often” or they’ll stay empty. He ended by saying he learned a lot, which was interesting. I think most people understand that popular products are often restocked, and if they aren’t restocked, people can’t buy them immediately. Seems obvious!
