I have a few more reviews for you to enjoy in today’s post.first of all Princess Peach: It’s show time!, I liked it almost as much as I expected, if not for the exact reasons.Then I take a look Castlevania-like Crypt Stalker, which is a major drawback away from “cool”. After that, we have some new releases to check out. Thank goodness it wasn’t as full of bins as it was yesterday. After that it’s sales time. Let’s get to work!

Princess Peach: It’s show time! ($59.99)
Princess Peach: It’s show time! Developed by Good-Feel, it’s a very Good-Feel game and I think I might have been able to guess the developer even if I hadn’t been notified ahead of time. The Hyogo Prefecture-based company, founded by several former Konami employees, has worked with Nintendo on and off since its founding in 2005. During that time, the company developed several games featuring Nintendo characters. Wario Land: Shake It Up! “, “Kirby’s Epic Yarn”, “Yoshi’s Woolly World”and Yoshi’s Crafted World. Just like those games, Princess Peach: It’s show time! It’s a pretty grim game and it’s relatively easy to get to the end, but there are enough collectibles in there to allow you to replay stages if you want to complete them.
Peach goes to the theater to see a show as a person, and when some sour grapes decide to ruin the scene, Peach is trapped inside. To save the world, she must risk every scene and fight back against the bad guys within it. She’ll adopt a special character for each game, and while the basic gameplay here is that of a tried-and-true platformer, you’ll often be asked to do a lot of other things. Maybe you have to decorate a cake or perform figure skating moves in time to the music. You never know what’s going to happen next, which is one of the strengths of the game.
Generally speaking, everything the game asks you to do is fun. It ends a little too quickly if you decide to rush through it, but I don’t think it’s too far from the ideal length for the ideas it contains. Collecting all Sparklas in each stage and finding all the hidden secrets is a difficult task that sometimes requires careful searching and sometimes considerable skill in mini-games. I find this a satisfying reason to replay levels, but not being able to skip cutscenes that play over and over again is a bit annoying.
In terms of presentation, Princess Peach: It’s show time! Looks and sounds good. It’s not the smoothest or prettiest game on the console, but it’s vibrant and runs well. Peach’s various costumes look sharp, and the original characters created for the game are charming. The game is set in a theater, and the stage is a literal stage, giving the game its own unique personality, with boss battles and set pieces all very impactful. Peach is a fun heroine and it’s so cool to see so many new sides of her.
Princess Peach: It’s show time! It feels a little too spread out at times, but the variety of gameplay and generally feel-good relaxed atmosphere make this a great game to kick back and relax on for a weekend or two. If you’re not interested in replaying stages to find hidden goodies, this might be a game that’s too short and light. The game also desperately needs an option to skip lengthy cutscenes when returning to a previously completed game. Overall, it’s a solid performance for one of gaming’s most famous princesses, and her Nintendo DS Star debut is an easy win. Hopefully this is just the beginning of her adventure.

Crypt Tracker ($6.99)
When a game is as affordable as this one is, I’m usually not that picky about whether it does everything well.and Crypt Stalker There aren’t actually many serious flaws except maybe also express respect enthusiastically Castlevania. The basic gameplay is fun, you get a variety of level themes, the boss battles are relatively well done, and the presentation more or less serves its purpose. You can even get an extra version of the game that more closely emulates the terrible first Game Boy Castlevania adventure.
But there was one thing I couldn’t let go of, even if I could guess how it happened. It’s a challenging side-scrolling platformer that requires fairly precise timing, especially when it comes to alternating jumps and attacks. Unfortunately, it decided to map its controls in the opposite convention, assigning jumping to B and attacking to A.if you have any Castlevania (or NES) muscle memory builds up and it’s an incredibly annoying situation. You also can’t remap it in-game, so if you want to change it you’ll have to use the system-level remapping feature. I suspect what’s going on here is that on PC it’s mapped according to the usual layout, but the positions of B and A are reversed on the Switch controller, leaving us with this.
Crypt Stalker Provide some decent, cheap, Castlevania– Such excitement. You’ll get great gameplay benefits, tons of levels to fight through, and some fun extra modes to enjoy. Sadly, the lack of button mapping in the game, combined with the default reverse layout for jumping and attacking, makes the game difficult to enjoy if you’ve been invested in the usual button assignments for decades. Hopefully the publisher thinks this can be updated with the option to reassign the controls.

Farm Simulator for Kids ($29.99)
Take the following concepts Farm Simulator And make it accessible to kids, that’s it. The demo is aimed squarely at young adults, and with over a dozen crops to grow and harvest, a handful of locations to explore, and a wide variety of things to do, this might just hit the mark. I’m sure kids will also enjoy that this game also comes with fully licensed John Deere tools and vehicles.
South Park: Snow Day! ($29.99)
I remember at some point South Park Guys said some scarier things about not wanting South Park games, that’s why they focus more on practice stick of truth.Well… I guess it’s good while it lasts because this was an absolutely horrible South Park game. This flawed, poorly conceived multiplayer action game isn’t worth $30, not worth the 10GB of space on your SD card, and certainly not worth your time. A shameful burning of hard-earned goodwill.
Shockman Collection Vol. 1 ($10.99)
Technically this is just a bundle of two already released re-releases Shockman From Lataleca Games. I’m not sure why it’s not just a bundle of these two existing apps, but I don’t think it matters. This is a cheaper way to get both games if that’s what you want to do.
