Tillman FiberCo expands high-speed internet network in Florida

Tillman FiberCo, LLC, a leading provider of fiber-optic broadband infrastructure, announced a significant expansion of its 100% fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) network in Florida. The expansion is designed to meet the growing demand for high-speed internet access in regions across the state, including Tampa Bay, the Panhandle, South and Southwest Florida, as well as St. Petersburg, Fort Myers, Naples, Pensacola, Several major cities such as Miami, Palm Beach, Ft. Fort Lauderdale and Kissimmee.

Tillman Fiber, in partnership with U.S. Tier 1 mobile carriers, will provide symmetrical gigabit broadband Internet access and service to residential customers. The move comes at a time when digital connectivity plays a crucial role in technological advancement.

To ensure efficient network management and deliver multi-gigabit symmetric services, Tillman Fiber is deploying Nokia 10-gigabit XGS-PON with Altiplano SDAN controllers. Additionally, end users will benefit from Nokia’s cloud-optimized mesh Wi-Fi 6 solution powered by Corteca, allowing their homes to enjoy gigabit speeds.
