XDefiant delayed again, but stress testing is underway which should help Ubisoft lock in release date

At times, despite extensive testing and surprisingly high player numbers, it seemed like XDefiant would never see the light of day, and unfortunately for those who were excited about the game, it’s been delayed yet again. XDefiant was originally slated to release sometime this month, according to a financial report from Ubisoft, but the official Twitter account said this week that the game would need more time before it’s ready. “This game has always been community-first and player feedback is a top priority,” the statement read. “While we hope to launch by the end of March, we still need to test some improvements before then.”

“We are finalizing preparations for a 12-hour server test session that will take place globally on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The goal of this test is to stress our servers and capture critical data , to get ready for our launch. This is where we need your help testing our servers as much as possible!
