ring confirmation edge The company has stopped selling the Ring Car Cam, a dashcam/security camera hybrid that records the road and driver while driving and acts as a security camera when the vehicle is parked. We remain excited about the opportunities for innovation in the automotive space.”

“Customers who purchase in-vehicle cameras will continue to receive software updates and support.
As I pointed out in my review, the Ring Car Camera takes a novel approach but seems to fall between two stools. If you want a dedicated dash cam (due to the low video quality and high monthly fee), it’s not that useful and feels like overkill as a safety device to protect your car. It also doesn’t take full advantage of its Ring and Alexa connectivity, with limited integration and few voice features.
Send to on Amazon edge Readers canceled their orders for the device, and the company responded similarly to Ring, citing “continued delays in Ring Car Cam availability.” He originally placed the order in October, but it was postponed to December and finally canceled this week.
According to online reviews, the in-car camera did arrive to some customers early, but the product has essentially been vaporware since its initial launch.
